Dermatologist
Duties and responsibilities:
A dermatologist is a doctor
who specializes in skin, hair, nails, and mucous membranes (ex. Lining inside
the mouth, nose, and eyelids. They diagnose and treat 3,000 different diseases
which include skin cancer, eczema, acne, psoriasis, and nail infections.
Dermatologist also improve their patients appearance like wrinkles, age spots,
acne scars, and look more like the patients self after surgery when a skin
cancer is removed.
Salary: $100,000-$500,000 a
year
Education:

Bachelor’s degree

Medical school,
becoming a medical doctor or doctor of osteopathic medicine

Internship, 1 year

Dermatology residency
program, at least 3 years
I really would love to be a dermatologist because I want
to know why people get rashes, acne, wrinkles etc. I simply just want to learn
how it is caused, how can you prevent it, how to treat it, and what triggers
it.
