Health Educator
Duties and responsibilities:
Health educator teaches
people about behaviors that can build up wellness. They develop different strategies
to help improve the health of communities and individuals. Health educators basically
assess the needs of the people and communities they serve, develop programs and
events to teach people health topics, teach people how to cope with or manage
existing health conditions, evaluate the effectiveness of programs and
educational materials, etc.
Salary: $41,830 per year
Education:

Bachelor’s degree in
health education or health promotion
·
Master’s degree (if
working for U.S. government)
·
Doctoral degree(if
working for U.S. government)
·
2 year associate’s
degree
·
Certified Education
Specialist
I would not like to
be a health educator because it does not catch my attention or interest me.
