“In any moment of decision, the best thing you can do is
the right thing.”
Theodore Roosevelt
What is the right thing you may ask? The right
thing is when your friend at the age of 14 offer you some alcohol at a party
and you say “no thanks I am underage.” That is the right thing your friend chose
the wrong by drinking alcohol at a very young age when their brain has not been
fully developed and could create some permanent damages later on.
Life Planning progress Post
In
my life planning book, so far I have completed about 7 out of 148. This is a
very small amount and my goals just keep growing and growing yet I have not completed
at least half of them. Mostly because I do not have the time or my parents do
let me out so often. I cannot seem to manage my time. I really need to learn
how to manage my time wisely and convince my parents to let me out more in
order to complete my goals.

Doing the Right Thing
In the video, Sara has not had any homeruns but then the
day comes that she finally makes one with a problem. Sara makes her first homerun
but while she runs to second base she hurts her leg and cannot not run anymore
or walk. The 2 players from the oppose team, Central Washington pick her up and
help her get to the bases.
I thought this was very kind and so thoughtful of them,
especially considering since they are from the oppose team.

“It’s a great moment when someone has character to step
up and do the right thing at the right time.”
Pam Knox
What Knox means is that it
is good for someone to step up and help someone or speak up etc. at the right
moment. Not in a bad way of course, but in a very good way that the one you
help will be grateful.

The 10 Native American Commandments
1.
Treat the Earth and
all that dwells therein with respect.
2. Remain close to the Great Spirit.
3. Show great respect to your fellow beings.
4. Work together for the benefit of all mankind.
5. Give assistance and kindness wherever needed.
6. Do what you know to be right.
7. Look after the well-being of mind and body.
8. Dedicate a share of your efforts to the greater good.
9. Be truthful and honest at all times.
10.
Take full
responsibility of your actions.
The 10 Indian
Commandments are somewhat interesting and inspiring because most of these
commandments just say to respect others and mother nature. Only one this
commandment has to do with religion. The commandments basically say to that you
should respect the earth and mankind, to share, respect, be honest, truthful,
help, work together with others and look
after yourself and know what’s right from wrong.

“A promise must never be broken.”
Alexander Hamilton
A promise is an assurance to someone that one will
definitely do, give, or arrange something; undertake or declare that something
will happen. If you make a promise, you should never break a promise to anyone
because then that person will thing of you as if you do not care or you do not
respect them. Then when you make a promise to yourself do not break it because
it will be as if you do not respect yourself. Unless of course if you promise
to do something bad or wrong then it is okay to break it because you made a
mistake making it and you knew now that it is the wrong thing to do.

“What you see is what you get.”
Anonymous
I really like this quote because it is true if you see
yourself as say a musician then you will try your best to achieve that goal. I
see myself becoming a dermatologist and then working for CDC. Also see myself
playing the violin and piano on my free time. I will try very hard to achieve
this goal of mine by focusing, studying for exams, never give up and not going
down the wrong path when it comes to making decisions.
Professional Violinist
Duties and responsibilities: Violinists are expected to be highly skilled musicians. They gained practical experience through performance and formal education. In concerts violinists hold a variety of positions including section member, concertmaster, soloist, or guest performer.
Salary: $32.10-$68.63 per hour
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in music theory or performance
• Master’s degree in fine arts or music
• Many years of practice and skill on violin
I would really love to be a violinist because I play the violin myself and I just enjoy playing it, although in my advance band all we play mariachi music I kind of like it but would very much prefer orchestra classical music or jazz or rock or metal. Mariachi is okay for now. Professional violinist is like somewhat a dream for me, that and a professional pianist I just enjoy how it sounds.

World’s Largest Chocolate Bar
World’s largest chocolate
bar was made by Thornton’s PLC, a chocolate factory in Alfreton, Derbyshire, UK.
The record was made on September 7, 2011 with the chocolate bar weighing 12,770
lb. 4.48 oz. with the measure of 13 ft. 1.48 in. by 13 ft. 1.48 in. by 1 ft.
1.78 in. Creating the chocolate took 10 hours to do and 3 days to cool off.
This is one of my favorite
world records because I love chocolate and seeing this is absolutely
mouthwatering and surprising. It is fascinating how a company decided to create
such an enormous chocolate and also to celebrate their company’s 100th
anniversary. Making a world record does seem interesting, I would want to
consider breaking one but not exactly sure which one.

“My basic principle is that you don’t make decisions
because they are easy; you don’t make them because they are cheap; you don’t make
them because they’re popular; you make them because they’re right.”
Theodore Hesburgh
Hesburgh implies that you do not make choices because
they are easy, cheap, or popular, you make them because you feel and know it is
the right thing to do.
