World’s Largest Chocolate Bar

World’s largest chocolate bar was made by Thornton’s PLC, a chocolate factory in Alfreton, Derbyshire, UK. The record was made on September 7, 2011 with the chocolate bar weighing 12,770 lb. 4.48 oz. with the measure of 13 ft. 1.48 in. by 13 ft. 1.48 in. by 1 ft. 1.78 in. Creating the chocolate took 10 hours to do and 3 days to cool off.

This is one of my favorite world records because I love chocolate and seeing this is absolutely mouthwatering and surprising. It is fascinating how a company decided to create such an enormous chocolate and also to celebrate their company’s 100^th anniversary. Making a world record does seem interesting, I would want to consider breaking one but not exactly sure which one.
