Health Information Specialist
Duties and responsibilities:
A health information specialist review patients’ records for timeliness,
completeness, accuracy, and appropriate data, organize and maintain data for
clinical databases and registries, track patient outcomes for quality assessments,
use classification software to assign clinical codes for reimbursement and data
analysis and protect patients’ health information for confidentiality,
authorized access for treatment, and data security.
Salary: $34,160-$40,380 a year
