Medical Illustrator

Duties and responsibilities: A medical  illustrator  is a professional artist with specialized training and advance education in medicine, science, art, design, visual technology, media techniques, and in theories related to communication and learning. They create imagery advances medical knowledge and empower health literacy for patients and the public. They work with scientists, physicians, and other medical specialists.

Salary: $62,000-$175,000 annually

Education:
·       Master’s Degree
·       Graduate programs in medical illustration for 2 years
·       Classes for storyboard creation, interactive media development, web design, animation, 3D modeling, and prosthetics
·       Take Human gross anatomy, physiology, pathology, histology, neuroanatomy, embryology, and surgery


This career is pretty interesting especially since you can see the doctors in action performing a procedure and while you are sketching but I would have to know how to draw really well and in detail.
